Instagram locked me out and taught me this: your business needs a home outside the algorithm

Your social media account can disappear overnight, but your website is yours. Always.
Last night, my Instagram account was suddenly suspended.
No warning. No explanation.
Just… gone.
And even though it’s back now (thankfully), it was the reminder I didn’t know I needed:
Your website is the one place you truly own.
Not every entrepreneur needs a website, that’s true.
But if your business holds depth, energy, evolution, or a story you’re here to share…
having your own digital home matters.
Because your website isn’t just another platform.
It’s a space that can’t be taken away.
A place where your voice, your magic, your work, your truth
can live independently of algorithms, glitches or unexpected shutdowns.
For me, the timing couldn’t be more perfect: my renewed website goes live soon,
and last night reminded me exactly why it’s so important.
A website gives you freedom.
It gives your business stability.
It gives your soul-work a home that’s entirely yours.
And when it’s aligned, when the energy, clarity and structure are all woven together...
Your website becomes a living expression of your brand…
not just a place people visit, but a place they feel you.
If you’ve been sensing it’s time to build or renew yours,
this is your sign.
